RHYTHMS OF THE WORLD FESTIVAL | 25TH JULY

Jul 14 2010

Single News & Tour Details

So we’re back in stride and gun ho into the summer. Glastonbury was fantastic, the best I’ve been to yet, the sun was shining, the leftfield was back with a vengence and Steve Wonder… Don’t get me started on how good that set was! Preceded by a fantastic night at the joiners in Southampton, it was a top weekend all round! With that said the summer rolls on, we’re off to Garforth for the arts festival this weekend and then to the mighty Rhythms of the World in Hitchin the weekend after.

It’s been really nice to have a new single Collapsing Cities ready and a few people have been really kind to play it on t’radio, below is a little link to listen to the track from Huw Stephen’s sitting in for Zane the other night. I hope you like the tune.

It’s out on 9th August and is currently available to pre order on 7′ (500 copies) from our good friends at Banquet Records in Kingston.

With the album (titled “Get Cape. Wear Cape Fly”) heading towards release on September 13th, I’m very excited to announce that we will be out on the road for, well, quite a while.

I am pleased to announce a handful of shows to give you all a first taste of the record and to dust off some of the songs from the previous 2 albums. I love playing live and cannot wait for you to hear the new songs and to see some of you around the UK really soon.

The first dates are as follows:

  • Wed 11-Aug UK, London, The Borderline – Buy Tickets
  • Thu 12-Aug UK, Nottingham, Rock City Basement (14+) – Buy Tickets

More will be announced within the next couple of weeks, in terms of both touring and album details. In the mean time I hope you can make the shows and I look forward to seeing you over the summer.
